Preparation and luminescent properties of a novel red emitting phosphor of Ca1−2xMxIn2O4:xEu3+ (M = Li, Na, K) for white LED solid-state lighting
چکیده انگلیسی
▶ Our research highlights on preparing a novel stable red phosphors with strong luminescence. ▶ Eu3+ is doped in CaIn2O4 host lattice to obtain a red emission phosphor, and alkali metal ions such as Li+, Na+, K+ are co-doped as charge compensators to improve the optical properties of the Eu3+ doped CaIn2O4. ▶ The effects of the charge compensation on the luminescent properties of different alkali metal ions are investigated. ▶ The performance of our phosphors is also compared to some popular red phosphors of Y2O2S:Eu3+ and CaMoO4:Eu3+. ▶ We believe the findings may interest general readers as well as experts in broad fields of rare earths and optical material.
