The CdSe–Ga2Se3–PbSe system

Phase equilibria in the quasi-ternary CdSe–Ga2Se3–PbSe system were studied by differential-thermal analysis, X-ray diffraction, and metallography. Phase diagrams of five polythermal sections, the isothermal section at 870 K, and the liquidus surface projection have been constructed. We investigated mono- and invariant processes in the system, as well as coordinates of invariant points, which include three ternary eutectics and four ternary peritectics.
