Crystal structures of T(T′, X)3 and T(T′, X)2 ternary compounds (T = Ti, Zr; T′ = Au, Pt, Pd; X = Al, Ga)

Ten new ternary titanium and zirconium based compounds have been synthesized by arc-melting of the elements. The crystal structure of the investigated intermetallics, determined by X-ray powder diffraction, has been related to the AuCu3 and MgCu2 structure types, respectively.
