Rapid fabrication of confined Au nanoparticles with tunable sizes and morphologies by a simple glucose-assisted vacuum impregnation method

► Au nanoparticles with high loading confined into mesoporous silica are simply and rapidly synthesized by a simple glucose-assisted one-step vacuum impregnation method. ► The well-ordered 2D hexagonal mesopores and unfirmly distributed Au nanoparticles are observed. ► The sizes and morphologies of as-prepapred Au nanoparticles can be easily tuned by this method.
