In vitro corrosion inhibition on biomedical shape memory alloy by plasma-polymerized allylamine film

► Polymeric allylamine film is fabricated on nickel titanium (NiTi) by plasma polymerization. ► The coated polymer film shows a uniform and flat surface morphology. ► Electrochemical tests results show that the corrosion resistance of NiTi in SBF is improved by the plasma polymerized film.
