Easy synthesis of ordered meso/macroporous carbon monolith for use as electrode in electrochemical capacitors

Hierarchical meso/macroporous carbon monolith has been successfully prepared using Pluronic F127 and SiO2 opal as templates by an easy method. The sample has a high specific surface area and a very large pore volume. Electrochemical analysis indicated that it has fine electrochemical double-layer performance.
