Improving surface properties and wear behaviors of duplex stainless steel via pressure carburizing

► The highest value of surface hardness could be produced up to 1552 HV on fine grain DSS. ► Thickness layer up to 64 μm depending on the grain size. ► This process results are much better in wear performance as compared to the conventional process.
