Visualising the spatial extent of predicted coastal zone inundation due to sea level rise in south-west Western Australia

► We visualize flooding along the south-west coast of Western Australia. ► Publically available data and common GIS software provide valuable information. ► Secular sea level rise in the 21st century has minimal impact. ► A small sea level rise becomes important when added to an extreme sea level event. ► Simple flood preventive structures can help to alleviate near-future flood threat.
