Characterizations and photocatalytic activity comparisons of N-doped nc-TiO2 depending on synthetic conditions and structural differences of amine sources

► N doping to TiO2 depends on preparation conditions and nitrogen source nature. ► Most effective N-doping occurs by alcohol amines under MW_90 °C condition. ► Alkyl chain length of amine does not have an effect on the dopping process. ► N electrically dopes TiO2 and increases its conductivity.
