Analysis of the sunward continuum features of Comet 103P/Hartley 2 from ground-based images

► We report on the sunward continuum features in Comet 103P/Hartley 2. ► Two distinct sunward continuum features were observed in November. ► One sunward continuum feature is identified in images from October and December. ► We place constraints on the source regions and possible rotation models. ► We constrain the outflow velocity of the grains that make up the continuum features.
