Constraint on the lunar core size from electromagnetic sounding based on magnetic field observations by an orbiting satellite

► We analyzed magnetic field data around the Moon observed by Kaguya and Lunar Prospector. ► The upper bound of a highly conducting lunar core radius is 400 km. ► The induction signal by the lunar mantle is significant at 100-km altitude.
