► New analysis of LP reveals new gravity anomalies associated with smaller craters. ► The admittance of ∼70 mGal/km is found for craters of 30-60 km in diameters. ► The global gravity field to degree 200 is not smoothed by power law constraints. ► This new technique could benefit the satellite missions like MESSENGER and GRAIL.
