UV and IR auroral emission model for the outer planets: Jupiter and Saturn comparison

► We have developed a model which estimates UV and IR emission rates simultaneously. ► These emissions vary with the auroral electron and the atmospheric temperature. ► We estimated conditions for producing the Saturn's polar IR event using the model. ► Different appearance of polar emissions between Jupiter and Saturn are discussed.
