Response of the topside ionosphere over Arecibo to a moderate geomagnetic storm

► Day-to-day variations of the topside ionosphere during a moderate geomagnetic storm. ► Large variations in the protonosphere boundary occurring soon after the geomagnetic storm peak. ► The large amount of Ne coincides with the peak of the storm, as Ne increases the Te and Ti decrease.
