Growth of InN nanorods prepared by plasma-assisted molecular beam epitaxy with varying Cr thicknesses

► In this study, the effect of InN nanorods morphology by Cr inserted layer was investigated. ► We demonstrated the optimal thickness of Cr inserted layer for InN nanorods growth. ► The growth mechanism of base-ball-like InN nanorods was discussed.
