Synchronization of Josephson oscillations in a mesa array of Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8+δ through the Josephson plasma waves in the base crystal

► We show that multiple mesas can synchronize through the base crystal. ► The plasma oscillation and dissipation in the synchronized state is studied. ► Optimal configuration of mesa is obtained.
