Electrical and magnetic properties of Nd3+-substituted GdBaSrCu3O7 superconductor

► Substitution of rare-earth paramagnetic Nd3+ ion in the Strontium site of tetragonal phase GdBaSrCu3Oy superconductor has been done systematically. ► Thermal and microstructure analysis of the samples is also carried out regarding the effect of substituting Nd in Sr site. ► The decreasing of magnetic and electrical transport properties with respect to Nd3+ ions concentration were studies low temperature magnetization and electrical resistivity measurements.
