Nonenzymatic glucose sensor based on nickel ion implanted-modified indium tin oxide electrode
چکیده انگلیسی

In this paper, a highly sensitive and selective nonenzymatic glucose sensor based on nickel ion implanted-modified indium tin oxide electrode (Ni/ITO) was constructed. Ion implantation is a facile, low-cost and environmental friendly method without the use of any other chemicals. The morphology image of nickel nanoparticles on the electrode surface was characterized by scanning electron microscope (SEM). X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) was also used to measure the chemical composition of the implanted film. Electrochemical oxidation of glucose with this sensor was examined by cyclic voltammetry (CV) and chronoamperometry in alkaline aqueous solutions. The proposed sensor exhibits prominent electrocatalytic activity toward the oxidation of glucose, with a wide linear range and a low detection limit. In addition, the modified electrode also exhibits acceptable reproducibility and long-term stability.
