Assessment study for multi-barrier system used in radioactive borate waste isolation based on Monte Carlo simulations

► We prepared a cementitious multi-barrier container to isolate borate radioactive waste. ► We examine the leaching of radionuclides from the container during ten years. ► Monte Carlo simulations evaluate the radiation emission from multi-barrier container. ► Evacuation or rearrangement of the multi-barrier containers is safe for 300 years.
