Dynamic electrochemistry at the interface between two immiscible electrolytes

This note provides a brief account of the theoretical and experimental achievements in the study of the interface between two immiscible electrolytes, in particular of its structure and dynamics, and the charge transfer kinetics, including the most remarkable results that have been obtained in the last five years. Perspective topics for the future research in this area are outlined.
