COMMD1 regulates the delta epithelial sodium channel (δENaC) through trafficking and ubiquitination

► The COMM domain of COMMD1 mediates binding to δENaC. ► COMMD1 reduces the cell surface population of δENaC. ► COMMD1 increases the population of δENaC-ubiquitin. ► Both endogenous and transfected δENaC localize with COMMD1 and transferrin suggesting they are located in early/recycling endosomes.
