Association of the subunits of the calcium-independent receptor of α-latrotoxin

► Perfluorooctanoic acid (PFO) destroys complex of p120 and p85 subunits of CIRL-1. ► Only about 8% CIRL-1 chimeras were co-precipitated and this phenomenon was obtained due to receptor oligomerization. ► Some part of p120 was released to cell media due to thrombin treatment of CIRL-1 chimera which thrombin cleavage site in N-terminus of p85 subunit.
