Preliminary phytochemical studies on some selected seaweeds from Gulf of Mannar, India

The solvent extracts of U. reticulata and S. wightii show a number of metabolites presence, further work will emphasize the isolation and characterization of active principles responsible for bio-efficacy and bioactivity.
