Nuclear magnetic resonance analysis for antimicrobial compounds from the red seaweed Gracilaria corticata

Altogether our observations suggest a triggering of antimicrobial activity by this polysaccharide like compound. Further the investigations are now in progress to purify and identify the structure of the compounds.
