Age associated changes in antioxidant and antioxidative enzymes in human neutrophil of different aged people

Our results demonstrated that increased MDA and PC levels strongly support the increased oxidative damage in elderly subject than young subjects. Conclusion: The results indicate the balance of oxidant and antioxidant systems in neutrophil shifts in favour of accelerated oxidation during aging.
