چکیده انگلیسی
Environmental chemical pollution is suspected to play an important role in various pathologies. Whereas the relationship between certain pollutants and cancer is established, it is not as clear for other pathologies such as type 2 diabetes and obesity. These chemicals are persistent organic pollutants, which are also usually endocrine disruptors. The majority of their effects are due to the binding to receptors, either specific or not for xenobiotics, which are also transcriptional factors responsible for the modulation of gene expression. The difficulty of the study of the relationship between exposure to pollutants and pathologies is due to: i) the complexity of the mixtures to which living organisms are chronically exposed; ii) the imperfection of cellular and animal models to dissect the molecular mechanisms of the pollutants; iii) the unlimited number of mixtures. The study of a small number of model molecules for which the signalling mechanisms are known will allow the study of the possible interactions between the various classes of pollutants.
