ZusammenfassungAuf der Basis aktueller Lehrbücher, Atlanten und Übersichtsartikel werden die Definitionen rhythmischer und periodischer Muster im EEG und ihre klinische Bedeutung, insbesondere ihre Assoziationen zu Epilepsien und epileptischen Anfällen dargestellt. Viele dieser Muster sind mit epileptischen Anfällen assoziiert, ohne selber ein iktales Muster darzustellen.
