ZusammenfassungDie arthroskopische Schulterstabilisierung stellt bei der posttraumatischen Instabilität das Verfahren der Wahl dar und hat sich weltweit etabliert. Mittlerweile wurde eine Vielzahl von Techniken entwickelt, um den Patienten optimal zu versorgen. Der Einsatz von Fadenankern hat sich zur sicheren und besseren Fixation des rupturierten Kapsel-Labrum-Komplexes von ventral bestens bewährt und die transossären Nahttechniken abgelöst. Bioresorbierbare oder bioresistente Setz- oder Schlaganker haben sich sowohl mit Knotentechniken als auch in knotenfreier Refixationstechnik durchgesetzt.Entscheidend für den Erfolg der Behandlung ist die möglichst frühzeitige Reparatur aus ortsständigem Gewebe, wie Sir Blundel Bankart bereits 1938 zitiert hat [1].
