LDL apheresis improves deranged cardiovagal modulation in hypercholesterolemic patients

Hypercholesterolemic patients on regular LDL apheresis treatment have significant autonomic dysfunction. A single LDL apheresis does not evoke sympathetic overactivation but improved deranged cardiovagal heart rate modulation in hypercholesterolemia.
