Justificación de la terapia combinada con IECA y bloqueadores de los canales de calcio en la hipertensión

Reduction of blood pressure levels is related with decrease in risk of cardiovascular episodes. This review analyzes the advantages of combined therapy, basically referring to greater efficacy in relationship with the synergic and additive effects of different drugs on blood pressure, effects on several pathophysiological mechanisms of hypertension and inhibition of the counterregulatory mechanisms as well as in a reduction of the adverse effects.
