Syndrome de Parsonage-Turner : diagnostic topographique

Parsonage-Turner syndrome is characterized by pain in a limb root, followed by motor deficit and amyotrophy. We report the case of a fifty-year-old patient with Parsonage-Turner syndrome combining axillar and radial nerves impairment. The etiology could be an autoimmune reaction to an asymptomatic hepatitis E infection or a mild shoulder trauma. The radial nerve ultrasound showed four narrowing sites on the radial nerve without external compression in good agreement with the electroneuromyographic investigation.
