A phase II study of induction carboplatin and gemcitabine followed by chemoradiotherapy for the treatment of locally advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma

The use of induction carboplatin and gemcitabine followed by chemoradiotherapy is feasible, with acceptable toxicity, and is a promising regimen for the treatment of locally advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
