This article addresses the history and purpose of the Foundation for Thymic Cancer Research. It discusses the thymic cancer experiences of the founders—the author and his wife Barbara Neibauer—and the role the Foundation plays in providing physical, emotional, and research support to victims of this disease, their families, and their physicians.
