Variations du sein normal. Aspects mammographiques et échographiques

Mammography and ultrasound are the basic imaging tests in the assessment of the mammary gland. The correlation with the anatomical, histological and physiological data enable proper comprehension of the image produced and ensure eomplete exploration of the gland. Embryological data explain certain constitutional anomalies. Various mammographic and sonographic aspects are found, related to constitutional factors but also individual variations in physiological and exogenous factors. Technological innovations help to better analyze the normal glandular structure, especially when glandular density is high in mammography, in order to detect an anomaly.
