Disappearance of circumscribed choroidal hemangiomas with photodynamic therapy

• CCH is a vascular hamartoma that typically appears in the macular area.
• Although a benign tumor, CCH can lead to significant visual loss.
• PDT can induce selective destruction of choroidal tumor without damaging the normal underlying retina.
• PDT can induce complete clinical disappearance of CCH.
