Nondeterministic Cellular Automata

Using purely topological concepts, we characterize the class of nondeterministic mappings between shift spaces that give rise to nondeterministic sliding block codes. We use such topological notions to investigate basic properties of surjective and reversible Nondeterministic Cellular Automata.
