Polymorphisms of short tandem repeat of genes and breast cancer susceptibility

The functional effects of short tandem repeat polymorphisms on cancer susceptibility, especially on breast cancer risk, are identified. The importance of short tandem repeat polymorphisms on development and progression of breast cancer are discussed.
