Asian men with BMI≥25 kg/m2 are at greater risk of having a positive initial biopsy result. The BMI threshold (BMI≥25 kg/m2) for Asian men to be at increased risk of prostate cancer detection on initial biopsy is lower than that of Western populations (BMI≥30 kg/m2).
