Nasal contouring using fillers

A face is defined by many features; however, because of its central position on the face, the nose is one of the most important aesthetic structures. Irregularities or disproportions in the nose can have a significant impact on one’s appearance. Because our faces form from 2 separate halves, asymmetries are more often the norm rather than the exception with the nose, since it receives a portion from each half of the face. With advances in fillers, many patients are turning toward simple in-office correction of nasal irregularities as opposed to or as a prelude to surgery. The purpose of this article is to present the author’s technique of using fillers to soften nasal defects.
