Enhancement of sciatic nerve regeneration by adenovirus-mediated expression of dominant negative RhoA and Rac1

► We made adenoviruses (Ad) of dominant negative forms of RhoA(RhoDN) and Rac1 (RacDN). ► Combined treatment with Ad-RhoDN and RacDN enhanced DRG neurites in vitro. ► In the injured sciatic nerves, the expression of Ad-Rho/RacDN enhanced regeneration. ► Combined regulation of small GTPases would be useful approach for nerve regeneration.
