Biocontrol as a strategy to reduce the impact of ochratoxin A and Aspergillus section Nigri in grapes

► Two yeast strains with biocontrol activity against A. carbonarius and A. niger aggregate were isolated. ► These yeast strains were able to control OTA accumulation and fungal growth in vitro. ► We also test the efficacy of the yeasts strains to diminish OTA accumulation in detached berries.
