Trace element distribution and 235U/238U ratios in Euphrates waters and in soils and tree barks of Dhi Qar province (southern Iraq)

► This is a contribution to the knowledge of the Iraqi environment after Gulf War II. ► In fluvial waters and soils 235U/238U ratio values were within the natural range. ► Some geochemical features as U and Pb isotopic ratios distinguished barks from soils. ► Results demonstrated that external trace elements and depleted U inputs occurred.
