Screening of Pochonia chlamydosporia Brazilian isolates as biocontrol agents of Meloidogyne javanica

► Pochonia chlamydosporia was isolated from Meloidogyne-infested soils in Brazil. ► 19 isolates (65.52%) belonged to P. chlamydosporia var. chlamydosporia (Pc. chl). ► The efficiency in reducing Meloidogyne javanica reproduction varied among fungal isolates. ► Isolates 10, 2, 3 (Pc. chl) and 64 were the most efficient strains. ► Significant information was added to the development of a bionematicide (Pc-10).
