• 21 species have been identified of Alloxysta, Dilyta and Phaenoglyphis genera.
• 19 species are here recorded for the first time from China.
• The most abundant genus found in this work was Alloxysta.
• Misinformation in Charipinae distribution is due to a lack of material collected.
• Continue with faunistic works to improve the Charipinae knowledge in China.
