A contribution to the knowledge of Dermestidae (Insecta, Coleoptera) of Hong Kong with description of a new species of Orphinus

• Orphinus (Falsoorphinus) barthelemyi Kadej, Aston, Háva & Herrmann, sp. nov. is described from Hong Kong.
• The imago and male genitalia are illustrated.
• A key to the subgenus Falsoorphinus is given.
• A revised checklist of the Hong Kong Dermestid fauna incorporating additional faunistic records is given.

Orphinus (Falsoorphinus) barthelemyi sp. nov. from Hong Kong is described, illustrated and compared with related species; a differential diagnosis is provided. A revised checklist of the Hong Kong Dermestid fauna incorporating additional faunistic records is also given.
