Sex pheromone composition of Ascotis selenaria (Lepidoptera: Geometridae) and its regional variation in Korea

► Sex pheromone components, 6Z,9Z-cis-3,4-epoxy-19:H and 3Z,6Z,9Z-19:H, were found. ► Isomers of 6Z,9Z-cis-3,4-epoxy-19:H, 3R4S and 3S4R, were critical for the attraction. ► Peak attraction occurred at 0.1 ratio of [3S4R] in Gunwi. ► Peak activity occurred between 0.4 and 0.6 ratio of [3S4R] in Goheung, Yeongam, Jeju. ► A bimodal activity occurred at 0.3 and 0.6 ratio of [3S4R] in Changnyeong.
