Proximinality and renormings: Some new examples

We give an example of a strongly Chebyshev hyperplane HH in a non-reflexive Banach space XX that is not Ball proximinal. We investigate Banach spaces for which the set of finite-codimensional proximinal subspaces is a lattice.
