Analytic approximation in LpLp and coinvariant subspaces of the Hardy space

We generalize a classical result by A. Macintyre and W. Rogosinski on best HpHp-approximation in LpLp of rational functions. For each inner function θθ we give a description of HpHp-badly approximable functions in θ̄Hp.
