Lyapunov stability of elliptic periodic solutions of nonlinear damped equations

Based on the third order approximation developed by Ortega, we present the formula of the first twist coefficient for a nonlinear damped equation. As an example, we consider the Lyapunov stability of a superlinear damped differential equation.
