Adsorption of methylene blue and malachite green from aqueous solution by sulfonic acid group modified MIL-101

A sulfonic acid group modified MIL-101 was directly synthesized and demonstrated to be effective for the removal of methylene blue and malachite green by the electrostatic and π-π interactions.
